The Letter Club

There is something rather special about finding a handwritten-style letter waiting on the doormat.

Railway View Cottage Letters is a monthly letter club where Betsy writes to her pen pals about the ordinary happenings of the weeks gone by. Inspired by a real cottage, real places and real life, each letter celebrates the simple moments that are so often overlooked.

Although Betsy herself is fictional, every story she shares has genuinely happened during that month. Nothing is invented—just lovingly retold through the eyes of a fictional friend.

Each month, Betsy writes a thoughtful letter sharing the little adventures, quiet moments and seasonal happenings from Railway View Cottage.

Some months there is more to tell than others, so letters naturally vary in length. Betsy simply writes until she has shared everything she wanted to tell you that month.

Every letter is carefully prepared, printed on quality cream paper and sent by Royal Mail Second Class during the first week of each month.

Occasional Little Extras

Every now and then, Betsy may tuck a little surprise into the envelope. It could be a seasonal keepsake, a postcard or another thoughtful extra to make opening your letter feel even more special.

A Birthday Card

Tell Betsy when your birthday falls and, each year, a birthday card will make its way to your letterbox.

You’ll receive three consecutive monthly letters from Railway View Cottage, each telling the story of what really happened during the previous month.

Over twelve months you’ll receive:

Twelve monthly letters from Railway View Cottage, usually posted during the first week of each month and telling the story of the month just gone.
